DRORI MONDLAK
I am grateful to have been touring with KLARO! the last few months in Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. KLARO! is a group I co-lead with alto saxophonist Karolina Strassmayer.
After two years of touring and performing the music of our previous CD Joining Forces (2011), our desire was to keep our creative juices flowing. In early 2013 it was time to write new songs, gather our close musical friends, record, and take the new show on the road. And that’s just what we did!
We recorded "Small Moments" at Bauer studios which will be released for our fall tour later this year and performed our new songs in some beautiful listening venues and festivals.
Joining us on stage and in the studio - guitarist Cary DeNigris, vibraphonist Stefan Bauer and bassists John Goldsby and Ingmar Heller.
On the tour we discovered where the new songs would take us. We made them our own, developed the music and strengthened our connection.
We had a ball doing it!
